New Mexico Ground Water Association Buck Lively Scholarship 

Each year the New Mexico Ground Water Association awards up to four $1,000 Scholarships to deserving children of our full members.

The Scholarship Committee can recommend to the Board of Directors to award more scholarships based on the number of qualified applications or to increase the award amount.

 2024 John H. Mahoney Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship fund has been established by the Mahoney family in John’s name and will award up to 2 - $1,000 scholarships per year. Special consideration will be given to those entering water related fields or will be attending a water well drilling training school.

Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher, be a resident of New Mexico and attending school in New Mexico (unless attending a well drilling training school).
